The City of Presidio wants to recruit the best employees that the State of Texas has to offer. Our city has adopted the City of Presidio Classification plan that is based on the Texas Municipal League salary scale for municipal employees and we are administrating this plan on a pay for performance basis that is evaluated on your individual performance. Our city has also adopted the City of Presidio Certification and Incentive Plan which provides for employees to receive additional compensation for achievements that have been accomplished to enhance their careers.  Examples:  higher education, municipal certifications, licenses, and bilingual pay.  The City of Presidio has updated their Human Resources Program to include Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, Holiday Leave, Texas Municipal Retirement System, Medical/Life Insurance coverage, compensated workshops, seminar participation and more.

Rehab Providers are responsible for providing case management, crisis, and rehab services to chronically mentally ill adults and children in the counties of Brewster, Jeff Davis, and Presidio. The position is responsible for ensuring quality of services through planning, accurate documentation, coordination, direct service provision and quality review. Ideal applicants are detailed oriented and have good writing and interpersonal skills. Great work environment, with a competitive salary and a full benefits package. A Bachelor’s degree is required in psychology, social work, or a related field.
